9 Reasons to work in hotel (English version)

Firstly I never thought that i will enter to the hospitality industry since having different background study. The hotel jobs are attractive with, relying on my term work experience in the hotel industry and clearly visualizing the future in this sphere as well.

If you have been thinking about working at hospitality industry but not sure whether it is right career path for you, the following are 9 reasons i meant to work in hospitality.

1. Making people happy 
Hospitality is all about people, whether you are a waiter, bellman, housekeeper, bartender or working in any other position within the industry and at it's core, your job's main purpose to make people happy, if solving the problems, soothing tensions, lifting moods and facilitating experiences all to put a smile on another's face are challenges you enjoy, you are meant to work in hospitality.

2. I want to travel 
Hospitality job exist in every country of the world and whether you are a sous chef, room attendant, night auditor or waitress, your skills should transfer to any locale. From cruise ship job to hotels, restaurants and resorts in other lands, you'll find plenty of opportunities to feed your travel bag, explore different cultures and meet new people when i work in the hospitality industry.

3. Create the creativity 
No matter what your hospitality job might be from Chef de cuisine to front desk agent, you are helping to create the guest experience and because that experience is a major factor in the organization's success, more employers are very open to creative suggestions to enhance and improve upon it 
If you are always coming up with ways to do things faster, better on in a more enjoyable way, you are meant to work in hospitality 

4. I crave variety 
Does getting up at the same time every morning and going to an office to complete repetitive task for eight hours a day, five days a week, with the same people sound like your worst nightmare? If so, a hospitality job will be your dream come true. No matter your position, no two days are identical within this exciting, dynamic industry.

5. Life-long career 
A dishwasher becomes a head chef, A bellman becomes a hotel manager. Sales Executive becomes a captain waiter or front desk agent becomes sales person. Whether you want a career where you can start at the the bottom and work your way up to the top or one in which you can explore a variety of lateral roles.

Because it is a people racing industry, the majority of professionals who work in hospitality are friendly, positive and outgoing. They also come from a wide range of backgrounds and are some of the most talented and passionate individuals your could hope to work with, taking great pride in the services that they provide. 

2. Acquiring global skills 
While it is true that every country has its own customs and practices, many of the skills learned in hospitality and tourism can be transferred all over the world. So if you like the idea of working in different countries or at least having the option to gaining skills and experience in hospitality will provide you with a solid foundation that could take you anywhere.

3. Day-to-day variety 
Anything can happen in the world of hospitality and the hours often vary, so no two days are ever the same, You might receive a request from a hotel guest, have to arrange a last minute booking or be asked to help with an event 

4. Social Interaction 
If you love the idea of interacting with people on a daily basis then a career in hospitality could be you as well as working with great people, you will get the chance to meet and help a diverse range of customers from a variety of cultures

5. Staff Perks 
Aside from your salary, there are a lot of great perks that come with a job in hospitality. Some employers provide free uniforms and staff meals, while others offer discount on hotel accommodation throughout the world, We could even get discount to book the room in hotels. These extra financial benefits can really make a big difference, especially if you love to travel and are just another reason why working in the hospitality industry is so appealing. 

6. Creative opportunities 
Some of the most successful hotel and travel companies are those that offer a unique proposition to their customer, which requires employees who have a creative mind-set and are good at coming up with new ideas, products and experiences.

7. Brilliant career prospects 
Due to the nature of the industry, such as seasonal peaks and through, staff movement within hospitality and tourism is more active than most. This means there is strong job growth and high employment levels as well as opportunities for promotion if you are one of the employees who stays when others leave at the end of the season. 
Many senior level professionals have started from the bottom and worked their way up - what is to stop you from doing the same.

8. Competition for good employees
The hotel is a people's business and the human factor plays a huge role in the successful operation of the hotel. From this viewpoint, it's crucial to obtain good employees and keep them in the hotel industry. This is true not only for top management but also for employees of lower levels. The employees, performing their job well, continually improving themselves, respecting hierarchy and having a wide vision.
This competition for good employees forces the hotel leadership to improve the interior atmosphere of the hotel, develop incentive mechanisms for good employees and to allocate various types of benefits.

9. Improved working environment

Generally, hotels offer improved environment for employees and the higher is the quality of the hotel, the more improved are the hotel conditions for the workers.
The hotel belonging to International chains have special standards design for employees.
The employees usually have their own entrance to the hotel that is controlled by the security guards. They are provided with beautiful uniforms, bathrooms and shower cabins, food and coffee breaks, frequent training programs, incentive programs to recognize the best employees, year-end parties and gift.

The hotel managers try to do their best to improve the working atmosphere and excluded the unhealthy relationship between workers and leaders of various departments, team work is encouraged. In hotels has become a widely accepted concept, treat the employee as you would like him to treat the guests.
